Dave Scott-Morgan

Formerly of ELO

 

Dave Scott-Morgan (known as Dave Morgan during his time with ELO) is an English songwriter and musician best known for his work with Electric Light Orchestra. He joined ELO for the Time tour of 1981–82, recorded on the 1983 album Secret Messages, and continued touring in 1986 for television dates promoting the ELO singles “Calling America”and “So Serious.” Dave also appeared on Jeff Lynne’s solo album Armchair Theatre. Dave’s composition “Hiroshima” became a major European hit and was later recorded internationally. His collaborations with fellow ELO members Richard Tandy and Martin Smith resulted in the projects Earth Rise and The BC Collection

Formerly of ELO Part II

 

Parthenon Huxley joined Electric Light Orchestra Part II in 1998. His original music appears on ten albums including Sunny Nights (Columbia Records) and Purgatory Falls (Universal). Hux's single, “I Loved Everything” went to #1 on Rolling Stone’s Exclusive Download Chart. Additional credits include four Top 20’s, three Album of the Year awards and hundreds of tracks that appear in film and TV.

Louis Clark

Formerly of ELO Part II 

 

Like his father before him, Louis Clark Jr. provides the band's string arrangements on symphonic keyboard. An arranger, conductor, cellist, pianist and guitarist from Birmingham, England, Louis worked with ELO Part II beginning in 1990 assisting his dad as copyist and arranger. He has brought his talents to THE ORCHESTRA's  live shows since 2015.

A founding member of Electric Light Orchestra Part II, Eric Troyer's resume reads like a who’s who of rock history. His voice can be heard on mega hits such as “Woman” by John Lennon, “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel, “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler and on songs by Aerosmith, James Taylor, Meatloaf, Kiss, Lou Reed, Celine Dion and many others, He has written and performed music for numerous ad campaigns, and has performed on soundtracks for film and TV.

Gordon Townsend

Gordon Townsend

Formerly of ELO Part II

 

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Gordon Townsend was the first choice to replace retiring ELO founding member Bev Bevan on drums. Gordon lays down an unshakable back beat beneath the band’s often complex musical arrangements, steering his performance to the needs of the song, supplying rock solid power and finesse. 

Cliff Hillis

Cliff Hillis

Cliff Hillis is an award-winning Philadelphia-based songwriter & producer whose music has been featured in film and television, such as the Jennifer Lopez film Enough and TV series Life Unexpected. Cliff has co-written with notable artists such as Danny Wilde (The Rembrandts), Rhett Miller (Old 97’s), and acclaimed troubadour Dan Bern. When not touring with THE ORCHESTRA, he performs with numerous projects and tours with Patty Smyth of Scandal and members of The Hooters, and has shared the stage with artists including Todd Rundgren, Emmylou Harris, Jeffrey Gaines, and Vince Neil of Motley Crue.

Mik Kaminski

Mik Kaminski

Formerly of ELO & ELO Part II 

 

​A violin prodigy, Yorkshire, England’s Mik Kaminski joined ELO in 1973 after famously answering an advert in Melody Maker magazine. His blue electric violin and unmistakable style helped define the band’s sound and visual identity, leaving an indelible mark on rock music history. A consummate showman, Mik is the original violin wild man, shattering traditional notions of stage propriety with a classical instrument. His influence and legacy remain an integral part of the band’s music and spirit. Kaminski stopped touring in 2026 and continues his involvement with the band in a special capacity, contributing to its musical legacy and artistic direction.

Glen Burtnik

Glen Burtnik

Formerly of ELO Part II and Styx

Glen Burtnik's showbiz career includes a stint on Broadway as Paul McCartney in Beatlemania, a Billboard #2 smash hit “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough” and ten years as frontman for rock legends Styx. Glen also released two solo albums for A&M Records. Burtnik is beloved in his home state of New Jersey for his over the top musical revues, most famously his Xmas Xtravaganza, which features dozens of notable performers.

Susan Aquila

New York–based electric violinist and vocalist Susan Aquila has shared the stage and played with rock legends including Paul McCartney, Steven Tyler, Roger Daltrey, Elton John, Billy Joel, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Josh Groban, and Diana Ross. A five-time Grammy nominee, she recently completed a four-month tour as solo violinist with Joe Jackson, has toured multiple times with Andrea Bocelli, has numerous Broadway credits, and has been praised by Jazzerzine Magazine as “the Jimi Hendrix of the electric violin.”

August Zadra

August Zadra has collaborated with THE ORCHESTRA on select live performances and touring appearances and is celebrated for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. For the past 15 years, he performed as a key member of Dennis DeYoung’s band (the former frontman of the legendary band Styx) and also has toured with Jason Scheff (former lead singer of Chicago) and Tommy DeCarlo (former lead singer of Boston).
